A rail, a step, a maple and the sun. The bars sit close to the concrete, so their shadows stay sharp. The leaves are high up, so theirs go soft, and every gap between them throws a small round image of the sun. Move the sun and the edges follow.
The end of the road. The two halves of the domino slide in along the amber seam and lock into one eye. It plays once over ten seconds, or walk it yourself. With sound on, a few plucked intervals give way to a full organ chord on 432 as the halves meet.
